一、 Beijing
1、 the Palace Museum

Established in 1925, the Palace Museum is located in the imperial palace of the consecutive Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. The magnificent architectural complex, also known as the Forbidden City, and the vast holdings of paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, and antiquities of the imperial collections make it one of the most prestigious museums in China and the world. In 1961, the State Council designated the former imperial residence as one of China's foremost-protected cultural heritage sites, and in 1987 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. 
2、 The Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven was the place where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties praying to heaven for good harvests. It was located on the east side of Zhengyang Gate. The Temple of Heaven is a masterpiece of Ming and Qing architectural skills. It is a treasure of ancient Chinese architecture and the largest existing architectural complex in the world for the purpose of praying to heaven for good harvests.  It was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1998.

The Summer Palace

The Summer Palace landscape, dominated mainly by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, covers an area of 3.08 square kilometers, three quarters of which is under water. Its 70,000 square meters of building space features a variety of palaces, gardens and other ancient-style architectural structures. Well known for its large and priceless collection of cultural relics, it was among the first group of historical and cultural heritage sites in China to be placed under special state protection. The Summer Palace, originally named Qingyi Yuan or the Garden of Clear Ripples, was first constructed in 1750. The Summer Palace is a monument to classical Chinese architecture, in terms of both garden design and construction. Borrowing scenes from surrounding landscapes, it radiates not only the grandeur of an imperial garden but also the beauty of nature in a seamless combination that best illustrates the guiding principle of traditional Chinese garden design: “The works of men should match the works of Heaven”. In December 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List.

The Mutianyu Great Wall

The Mutianyu Great Wall has a long history and splendid culture, which is 70 kilometers away from Beijing City. As one of the famous spots of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall is the essence of the Great Wall of the Ming dynasty. It has its own unique architectural style. Zhengguantai is very rare because there’re three watchtowers erected at one fortress. There are several sections in the northwestern part, known as the “cow horns edge”, “arrow” and “Eagles flying face up”, which are steep, towering, and undulating, resembling a soaring dragon soar. In spring, flowers bloom; in summer, mountains are covered with green with spring water running underneath; in autumn, red leaves cover the whole mountain range, with fruits on trees; in winter, snow falls and it’s a pure white world, thus gaining its reputation of being the best part of the Great Wall at home and abroad.
二、Tianjin

Tianjin Ancient Cultural Street

 
Ancient Cultural Street is one of the top ten attractions of Tianjin. From south to north, row upon row of stores stand on both sides selling all kinds of local products. The most famous products of Ancient Cultural Street are those old handcrafts. Besides special products, buildings along the street are also artistic, looking delightful. In ancient cultural street, shopping is no longer simple purchase, but also a process of widening your knowledge. Culture includes not only folk handicrafts, but also special delicacies, so is the Ancient Cultural Street.
2、Haihe River

Haihe River flows through Tianjin with all kinds of bridges crossing on it: the rainbow like Jingang Bridge, bullet train like Jinbu Bridge and sailing like Chifeng Bridge. Among them, the most unusual one is Yongle Bridge, a traffic bridge combining with sightseeing functions, because there is a ferris wheel built on it, called "Tianjin Eye". On the wheel, we could have an amazing panoramic view of the river. Nowadays, Haihe River has become a sightseeing attraction with tourist boats shuttling. Sightseeing route, night view route, water-land route and one-day tour route are available to offer you different options of sightseeing time and route.
三、Xian
1、Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum (Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum) is one that is specialized in relic display. The main object exhibited here are the Terra-Cotta figures of more than 2000 years old. These figures stand for the Garrison Force that protects Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum. Covering an area of 56.25sq.Km, it took 37 years and around 720,000 labors to build Emperor's Mausoleum, standing as the grandest with the richest burial objects among all the imperial tombs throughout Chinese history. On March 4th 1961, the State Council declared Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum a major historical and culture sites protected at the national level, One of the first sited in the country. The Mausoleum including the pits Of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses was listed as one of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site On December 7th 1987.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda

As the symbol of the old-line Xian, Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xian City, about 4 kilometers (2.49 miles) from the downtown of the city. Standing in the Da Ci'en Temple complex, it attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion, its simple but appealing style of construction, and its new square in front of the temple. Big Wild Goose Pagoda Originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), it functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda was successfully listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List as a site of the Silk Road in 2014.
3、 Daming Palace National Heritage Park

"With the deep Imperial Palaces and Halls widely opened, civil and military officers, as well as courtiers from other nations, are paying courtesy call to the Emperor. Known as "The Most Magnificent Palace", Daming Palace of Tang Dynasty is the most renowned palace complex in flourishing period of Tang where 17 emperors out of 21 in Tang Dynasty had handled political affairs, making Daming Palace the most world-renowned during 7th to 9th centuries.
四、Chengdu

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province. It located in the central part of the province. It is also one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China. The main ethnic groups in Chengdu are Han, and there are 44 ethnic minorities, including Hui, Mongolian, Tibetan, Miao, Manchu and Tujia. Chengdu has seven districts, eight counties and four county-level cities under its jurisdiction. Chengdu is an important base of the world electronic information industry, a famous national historical and cultural city, which is the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization, and one of the ten ancient capitals of China.

Watching giant pandasIf you go to Chengdu, in addition to experiencing the local cuisine, you must also go to the giant panda base on the outskirts of Chengdu. Giant panda base enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. Chengdu research base of giant panda breeding is one of the main research bases for the Chinese government to carry out the relocation project for giant pandas and other endangered wild animals.

五、Chongqing

There have been many ancient poems written about her natural beauty.

Different from flourishing Shanghai and traditional Beijing, Chongqing has its own character. Life here is slower and more leisurely. Every day, many people can be seen drinking tea with friends along the riverbank, or playing Mahjong. Strangely, many people who live in this city have hot tempers, and a straight forward, open character. While they often speak loudly, they are very warm-hearted and are always happy to help others. The character of the locals probably has something to do with the spicy Chongqing food. From hotpot to snacks, it can be said that Chongqing people cannot eat a meal without chili.

Chongqing is a big international city, with more and more foreign companies setting up here. Life in Chongqing is very convenient, as you can buy everything you need, and you go anywhere you want by subway, bus or taxis. At night you can enjoy the amazing nightlife, with bars, street barbeques and snack markets busy until dawn.
